Neurofeedback therapy is a noninvasive procedure that measures a client's brainwaves and provides the client with real-time feedback about how the brain is functioning. Neurofeedback is used to help teach self-control over brain functions by indicating to clients how their brains react to certain triggers. Over time, patients learn to recognize when their brain is in a certain state. Then, they can learn to recreate the desired state, such as relaxation, or avoid undesired states, such as agitation, in their daily lives.
Neurofeedback Benefits
Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG) brain mapping provides a noninvasive window into brain functioning to identity the source of symptoms of brain dysregulation. Mapping enables clinician's to seek appropriate interventions tailored to your specific brain activity patterns helping to reduce anxiety and insomnia.
In office, I provide Zscore, Amplitude, Infra Slow Frequency neurofeedback and Hemoencephalography (HEG) biofeedback.
Neurofeedback has been beneficial for many symptoms associated with but not limited to:
Overall, neurofeedback is a non-invasive way to help the brain function more efficiently, often with fewer side effects than medication-based treatments.
Neurofeedback is offered in office as well as remotely.

In line with the AAPB and ISNR guidelines for rating clinical efficacy, we conclude that neurofeedback treatment for ADHD can be considered "Efficacious and Specific" (Level 5) with a large ES for inattention and impulsivity and a medium ES for hyperactivity.
Neurofeedback participants made more prompt and greater improvements in ADHD symptoms, which were sustained at the 6-month follow-up, than did CT participants or those in the control group. This finding suggests that neurofeedback is a promising attention training treatment for children with ADHD.
Neurofeedback participants made more progress in reducing symptoms of PTSD when they integrated neurofeedback into their mental health recovery program.
